Precautions for precision machining and industry requirements
Jan 19,2021
Precision machining is a casting process with little or no cutting, and it is a good technological process in the casting industry, widely applied. The reasons for choosing precision machining are as follows:
It can use common materials and can utilize a large amount of scrap metal and recyclable resources. Compared to ordinary forging methods, it consumes less. The cost is reasonable, with good overall economic performance, low energy consumption, and minimal material usage. The adaptability of casting is broad, not limited by the size, thickness, and complexity of the castings, and the production mode is convenient. Investment casting has high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, which can reduce the workload of machining. It can cast high-temperature alloy castings, such as turbine blades, streamlined profiles, and cooling chambers, which are difficult to form through machining techniques. The castings have corresponding dimensional accuracy, small machining allowance, saving processing time and metal materials.
The industrial requirements for precision machining are as follows:
1. Establish some structurally correct, integrated production, education, and research bases that can continuously supply talent to enterprises, continuously produce new varieties of casting materials to meet the growing demand for casting materials, while gradually increasing the intensity of technology imports and exports.
2. Complete the adjustment of the industrial structure, eliminate a batch of small casting factories with low technical levels, poor product quality, serious pollution, and poor economic benefits, forming relatively concentrated 'small giants' and 'enterprises' to achieve 'specialization and scale' production.
3. Complete the transformation in growth mode from labor and resource-intensive to technology and capital-intensive, from extensive pollution type to green and intensive type, with product quality, variety, and quantity comparable to world standards, increasing the proportion of materials, and multiplying the production rate and economic benefits of the entire casting factory; environmental pollution control, and initially establish a casting materials industry system in China that is coordinated with the environment.
