Precision machining has good high-temperature deformation resistance, and the products require relatively good precision in their processes. Precision machining is a method for producing high-quality precision castings, which are widely used in industrial production. Precision machining has excellent stability, and the value of its products adapts to a wider pH range, with a relatively long shelf life.

Precision machining has strict requirements for the shell-making environment and wind speed. For castings with slender holes, the inter-layer drying time needs to be appropriately extended. High polymer additives can effectively help reduce defects in the shell and castings. The maintenance workload required during the preservation period of precision machining is relatively small, which can adapt to high shear stress stirring, further shortening the inter-layer drying time. However, they can shorten the inter-layer drying time of enhanced silica sol to as little as 1 hour.
