Machining processes and techniques

Detailed mechanical processing can be divided into upper and lower die methods, which can be completed through a combination of processes such as planing, milling, etching, turning, and electrical discharge machining. The dimensions and pit shapes of detailed mechanical processing are consistent with the edges of the product. When used, the wax mold is mainly for industrial wax pressing, so when selecting, the melting point and hardness should not be high. It is common to use aluminum alloy materials that are relatively inexpensive and lightweight for molds.
After the first two sandblasting processes and natural air drying, the third, fourth, fifth sandblasting processes, and so on, are carried out in sequence. Then, the number of sandblasting times is adjusted according to the size, surface requirements, and self-weight. Generally, the number of sandblasting times is between 3 to 7.
In detailed mechanical processing, multiple wax molds fixed on the mold head are coated with industrial glue and then evenly sprayed with a layer of fine sand. This sand has very small and fine particles, which helps to make the surface of the blank as smooth as possible. After the sandblasting is completed and naturally air dried, during use, industrial glue will continue to be applied to the surface of the wax mold, followed by spraying a layer of sand that is larger and coarser than the previous layer. After spraying, the wax mold is also allowed to air dry naturally at a set constant temperature.
